The registration of projects to Nordisk Forum has begun
In connection with the Nordisk Panorama film festival Filmkontakt Nord organizes Nordisk Forum for Co-financing of Documentaries in the 24–25th of September.
Filmkontakt Nord’s Board has decided to disband the 25 percent financial rule, but is still stressing the fact that all the projects must have credible financial banking to be accepted in the Forum. Also the Nordisk Forum's concept online has evolved recently: the attending producers can now record a one-minute clip to pitch their projects. This gives the attending financiers and broadcasters an opportunity to view the projects beforehand. Trailers and clips can be uploaded via the online registration.
The registration of projects to Nordisk Forum is now open and and welcomes documentary projects from the Nordic countries as well as from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The deadline for submission closes the 15th of June. Accreditation for financiers and observers opens in June and closes the 6th of August.
Nordisk Forum has developed into the main funding event for professionals involved in the Nordic documentary community. Based on Nordisk Forum’s previous results, it is expected that some 70-80 percent of the presented projects will have secured financing.
